Kincora in Loudoun, VA

The Kincora project is a big development happening between Ashburn and Sterling. Once finished, it will have townhomes and apartments where people can live, plus streets full of stores, restaurants, and hotels. There will also be peaceful nature walks where birds nest in the trees, and not one, but two amazing museums. The project has been in the works for more than ten years. Right now, some apartment buildings are done, and there’s already a Wawa, a fire station, and a church being built.

Kincora is also planning to add more things soon. A new area with shops and restaurants on the bottom and homes on top is being reviewed by Loudoun County. Two big buildings are planned, one with five stories and one with seven. There will also be a hotel, a childcare center, and possibly a fast-food restaurant with a drive-thru, although no one knows which businesses will be there yet. The main attractions will be two big museums — the Northern Virginia Science Center and the National Museum of Intelligence and Special Operations, both of which are still raising money to start building.
